"Waiting" room

The lack of sleep is starting to take its toll.
As everyone finds their best way to enjoy the waiting room(s), we just received a visit from the surgical nurse with an update. She said that Luke is doing fine and his chest is open, but they haven't started working on his heart. They are still in the process of getting him started up on the heart/lung machine, which is the important piece of technology that pumps/oxygenates the blood during surgery.
